Xiaomi unveiled its new range of smartphones Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus. The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus unboxing pictures and hands-on of these phones have been revealed on the net. The Mi 5s variant is powered by Snapdragon 821. It comes in a storage bundle of 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM and expandable internal storage of 64GB or 128GB. Mi 5s has a battery backup of 3200mAh and also fast charging support called Quickcharge 3.0. It features a 5.15-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The body is made of unibody aluminium. Mi 5s has in the front an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. As we know, it comes in two storage bundle, the first variant with 3GB RAM & 64GB internal memory comes at a price of 1,999 Yuan which translates to $299. The second variant with 4GB RAM & 128GB internal memory will cost 2,299 Yuan or nearly $344. Mi 5s offers four colors namely Silver, Grey, Rose Gold and Gold.
The next variant which unboxed today is Mi 5s Plus which is a bigger version of Mi 5s. This phone is also powered by Snapdragon 821. As it is bigger in size, the screen is also bigger in size featuring a 5.7-inch full HD screen. Mi 5s Plus also has a fingerprint scanner but it is on the back below the dual camera. Talking about the camera, Mi 5s Plus sports a couple of 13-megapixel rear cameras. The first variant with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory offers a price of 2,299 Yuan or about $344. The second variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory costs 2,599 Yuan that’s nearly $389. These latest flagships by Xiaomi will be available in the Chinese market from 29th September.
