At a Product Launch Event held at China National Convention Center in Beijing, Xiaomi took the wraps off the Xiaomi Mi 5s and 5s Plus smartphones, along with and Mi TV 3S. The Chinese company also unveiled the Mi Tv 3S with the power of AI. This launch has fuelled a sense of excitement in all Mi fans. The Mi 5s is believed to be an upgraded version of Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 5 smartphone, that was launched earlier this year. The Xiaomi Mi 5s comes with some amazing specifications. It is powered by Qualcomm SD821 Sense ID technology (which makes it insanely fast and easier to handle), with Adreno 530GPU and 6GB of RAM. It features a 5.15-inch screen with 1080p full HD display. Additionally, the phone is equipped with 16 ultra-bright, power-efficient LED lights, that enhances the display brightness.
Other captivating features of Xiaomi Mi 5s include a 3,490mAh powered battery, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 software rules this device. It is a belief that, with these awesome features, Mi 5s can easily give Apple’s newest addition, iPhone 7, a run for its money!

Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus
The second device unveiled was the Mi 5s Plus. As the “Plus” suggests, it is a bigger device than the 5s. It comes with 5.7-inch full HD display. The pixel density of the screen is 386ppi. Most of the specifications of both devices are the same. The fingerprint in this device is ultrasonic embedded directly inside the home button.
As for the cameras are concerned, there are two cameras at the back – dual camera phone, in short. Both are 13MP shooters. One of them grabs monochrome mode images, while the other has RGB mode images. However, the secondary camera is pretty lower, but still a decent one at 4MP with a bigger aperture of f/2.0.
The Plus variant is also powered by an SD821 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz in the company of Adreno 530 GPU. The base version comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. If you wish to go for the top variant, you have the combo option of 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal memory.
