Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is finally out and the smartphone boasts a higher screen to body ratio as compared to the basic Mi Mix model.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has a 5.9-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen display with minimal bezels. Philippe Starck from France designed this beautiful smartphone. And yes, he was the designer of the original model too. The gadget features a metallic chassis with the rear body made of ceramic. In the mid of June 2017, there were speculations that its Mi MIX 2 Lite Variant will be unveiled soon. It will run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and will have a better screen to body ratio than its previous model.
The special edition model gets 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and has a unibody ceramic structure. For adding more richness to the special edition gadget, the makers have highlighted the fingerprint scanner and rear camera rings in gold tone. The phone displays a screen resolution of 2160*1080 pixels and becomes the second phone after LG G6 to have an aspect ratio of 2:1. Xiaomi Mi 5X that was announced a few days back operates on Snapdragon 625 chipset and bears 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Mi Mix 2 is available in 4 different variants. The standard variants sport 6GB RAM and different internal storage capacity of 64, 128 and 256GB. The dimensions of the standard variant are 151.8 x 75.5 x 7.7mm and its weight is 185g. While the special edition variant measures 150.5 x 74.6 x 7.7mm and weighs 187g. The company has offered a 12MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX386 sensor and 5MP selfie shooter. The exclusive octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC powers the gadget with Adreno 540 on board in the form of GPU.
