Xolo has launched the Tegra 3-powered Play T1000 in association with NVIDIA. The Smartphone has been launched on Monday, July 15. The price of the Smartphone on some retail online stores is Rs 15,999.
The highlight of the phone is the 1.5 GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor that comes bundled with 12-core GeForce GPU. The phone has 1GB of RAM. There are features like Wi-Fi, 3G, and Bluetooth apart from GPS support.
The Xolo Smartphone has a 1900mAh battery. As far as cameras are concerned, the device has two cameras – the rear camera is of 8MP, while the front camera is of 2MP capacity. The Play T1000 has 4GB of internal storage that can be increased up to 32GB.
So how can the NVIDIA Tegra 3 improve the smartphone experience?
NVIDIA says that the Tegra 3 has a new brand 12-core GPU that can offer a performance up to thrice the performance dished out by Tegra 2.
It also supports a resolution of up to 2560 X 1600 apart from the 3D stereo.
This simply means that there is a lot of room for getting real-life effects in gaming that indeed gives an experience nothing less than PC gaming. The gadget also extends support for the games optimized for Nvidia Tegra through Nvidia TegraZone.
The Xolo gadget comes with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and is supported by 2000mAh battery.
