ZUK Edge to be Launched Next Week: CEO Chang Cheng

The ZUK Edge is going to be launched in the next week, according to the CEO of the company. There were a lot of rumors regarding the phone for the past few days. But the phone is finally here.

Those who were following the Lenovo ZUK Edge might be aware that the phone has got a certification from TENAA a few days back. No wonder, we started seeing heaps of leaks and rumors. But now, gone are the days of rumormongers as the CEO of the company, Chang Cheng, has come forward to state that the phone will be officially any day in the upcoming week.

There’s no specific date as to when the phone will be launched in next week. However, at least knowing that the device is getting official next week would satiate the hunger of the ZUK fans. Last month, the features and the specifications of the ZUK smartphone were unveiled that somehow got leaked online.

So what there’s no mention of the date, there’s something else in store for the ZUK Edge fans – a brand new render. As you can see in the image above, the render shows the front and the back of the device. It displays its packing as well.

As far as the specs of this ZUK smartphone is concerned, an SD821 processor will power the phone in the company of 6GB of RAM for smoother functioning and processing. On the storage front, there are two variant options for the consumers. The smaller variant will come with a 64GB internal memory option, while the larger one will have 128GB storage.

Running on the latest Android Nougat platform, the ZUK phone will have a powerful 13MP primary camera. For the selfies, an 8MP camera sits at the front of the device. As far as the color availability is concerned, it’s understood that there will be two options to from – Black and White.
