Amazon will be launching revamped Kindle Fire HD tablets probably later in this year. Amazon is looking to garner more shares for the global market for tablets. For that, the company will be revamping the line-up of the Kindle Fire tablets for this year.
The company will be launching three fresh Kindle tablets this year itself. The report says that the tabs are likely to hit the market in the shopping season. So this could mean the tabs could launch during the festive season of Diwali in India.
Out of the three tabs, the first one will replace the 7-inch Kindle Fire. This tab is the entry-level device of the company. According to the reports, the diagonal measurements of the tablet will remain unchanged.
However, the new tab might have a new panel and may have a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. It should be mentioned that the aforesaid resolution is also used in the Kindle Fire HD currently. But at present, the basic Kindle Fire variant has an IPS display and a resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels.
Amongst other additions, there will be a fresh version of Kindle Fire HD. There will be an enhanced panel for the gadget with a pixel resolution of 1920 X 1200. The increase in the display is considerably high as the current display is just 1280 X 800 pixels.
The current price of the Kindle Fire HD is Rs. 15,999.
The third addition to Amazon’s Kindle tabs is the 8.9 inch Kindle Fire HD. The current model comes with a 1920 X 1200 pixels. And what’s more, Amazon will be improving the screen resolution from the current resolution to a whopping 2560 X 1600 pixels.
If Amazon gives the Kindle 8.9 inch device this resolution, it will sport a resolution much stronger than Apple’s 9.7-inch Retina display that has 2048 X 1536 pixels.
