September 2016 IFA has witnessed the announcement of Huawei Nova along with Nova Plus. Now, Huawei has unveiled a new variant of the Nova, as named above (CAZ-AL10).
With the launch of Huawei Nova (CAZ-AL10), the Chinese smartphone maker has increased the array of previously unveiled, Nova. Specifications-wise, the new variant of Nova comes with a few new features and all others are just the same as the original Huawei Nova. One noticeable feature in the new variant of Nova is its 4GB RAM. And the company has also mentioned the new variant also supports an LTE-A carrier that supports a bundle of Chinese operators which would provide a download speed of around 300 Mbps.
If you are not able to rewind the technical specifications for the Huawei Nova, here’s a quick recap. With a 5-inch full HD IPS screen, the Nova flaunts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. It features an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU that will take care of the graphics work. The Nova packs a 3GB of RAM (but 4GB with the new variant) alongside a 32GB of internal memory that can also be expanded up to 256GB with a help of a MicroSD card.
As for the camera specifications, the Huawei Nova sports a 12MP camera at the back of the device. And there is an 8MP camera placed at the front side of the phone. We have also seen commercials for Huawei Nova that featured the camera. This Huawei device comes with a non-removable Li-ion 3020mAh battery. The smartphone supports a fingerprint sensor that is placed at the back of the device. Additionally, it comes with USB-C port support and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The smartphone also brings a custom EMUI 4.1 UI that runs on top of the Android OS.
You can purchase this new variant of the Nova (CAZ-AL10) with a color option of black and white. As of now, the variant is available only in China and the company doesn’t reveal any details regarding the worldwide release. Though, we are not sure that whether the company will unleash a new variant of 4GB RAM for the Nova Plus. But it will be interesting to see what would be the feature for that variant if Huawei brings one.
