LG G6 renders are out and they are enough that there are two important things. The new phone will have dual cameras and more importantly, the new phone won’t have a modular design.
LG G6 Renders
LG had announced the LG G5 [official images] earlier this year. It was unveiled on 21 February 2016 at the MWC (Mobile World Congress). In India, the phone was launched for a hefty price of INR 52,990. The USP of the device is that it’s the first ever modular phone from the company. And now, LG is coming up with the successor to the G5, known as the LG G6. But interestingly, the G6 won’t be a modular phone.
If you take away the modular design out of question, both LG G5 and G6 are pretty much similar. When on one hand LG took away the modular design, the LG G6 renders show that there is a dual camera setup. So, LG is certainly making up for the absence of the modular design.
Apart from the dual camera setup, LG has put a fingerprint scanner right below the camera, as you can see in the LG G6 renders images. You’ll also see a USB Type-C port, which is located at the bottom, it’s getting a common option for better and faster connectivity. To the top, you’ll see the standard 3.5mm audio jack, which is a good thing for the lovers of this traditional port. And it’s accompanied by the metal frame on the sides.
LG has brought a pretty cool-looking glossy and smooth finish according to the LG G6 renders. This is like the latest iPhone 7 Jet Black variant. The glossy finish is thanks to the highly reflective metallic material.
Before rounding off, it’s vital to tell you that these renders have a base of the CAD design. So, there are huge chances that the final model and structure of the phone will differ from what we see in these renders.
