Moto G’s launch in India suspended for a time being

The launch of Moto G in India has been delayed. So, those of you who are waiting to get your hands on the Moto G will have to wait some time more.

Motorola, which is owned by Google, has said that the announcement regarding the Moto G will come on February 5. The Twitter message of Motorola read, “Moto G launch details for India will be announced on February 5. Stay tuned!”

This shows that the phone may get launched sometime later. However, there is still no official word on the date. So, these are all guessing games at the moment.

Actually, during the CES, Motorola had made a statement saying that there were plans of announcing the Moto G anytime during the last week of January. However, now as the last week of the month is approaching, the company has postponed the announcement.

The Moto G was to become available in the US and some markets towards the end of the last year. The phone has a 4.5 inch screen and comes with a resolution of 720p. 1.2GHz quad-core processor powers the functioning of the phone. There are two variants of the device – the 8GB variant and the 16GB variant.

The gadget has 1GB of RAM. The Moto G comes with two cameras. The front camera is 1.3MP, while the rear camera is 5MP snapper. The Moto G uses the latest version of the mobile OS – the KitKat 4.4.2.
