Today Nokia unveiled three 3G-enabled phones – 207, 208 and 208 dual-SIM. All three phones are designed in the candy bar shape. All the three phones sport bright colors to the back, much like the Lumia range of phones.
All the three phones come with a 4.3-inch display and are water resistant. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, there are 2G and 3G apart from the Bluetooth 3.0 as well as the MicroUSB port.
The 208 and 208 dual-SIM variants have a rear camera of 1.3MP capacity. The interesting thing is that it has a feature like a panorama. So taking photos will be fun.
There are also features like sequential shot and self-portrait.
It is only the Nokia 207 that won’t have a rear camera.
Nokia has included apps like Twitter, Facebook, Xpress Browser, YouTube and Mail for Exchange. The popular WhatsApp has also got a place with the Nokia 208 (single-SIM variant). It won’t be seen in the dual-SIM version of the phone yet.
All the three phones will carry the Transfer app. This app makes transferring the contacts from Android and Windows phones a breeze.
Nokia 207 and Nokia 208 are the two phones that are not only cheaper but also offer faster internet connection. The price of the handsets is $68. However, with local taxes and the carrier subsidies, the end price of the phones is likely to vary.
All the three phones announced come in 1020mAh battery. White, black, cyan and red are the available colors for all three variants. The phones could possibly start shipping from this quarter itself.
