We have encountered many leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy C9. And now the device is said to be spotted at the Geekbench, revealing many specifications and details.
Samsung Galaxy C9
Previously, a device with the model number SM-C9000 had made its appearance on the Zauba, which is the Indian import and export. At that time, the listing revealed a price of each unit that is Rs. 17,107. Well, this is only the values and mostly these values don’t reflect the exact market price. So possibly, we will have to wait for the official information in this regard.
Now again the same model number was spotted on the Geekbench. Reportedly, the smartphone with model number SM-C9000 is the Samsung Galaxy C9. Additionally, the Geekbench listing puts light on the specifications of the said smartphone, Samsung Galaxy C9.
As listed in the benchmark website, the Samsung Galaxy C9 would feature a 6-inch display screen. While the previous leaks suggested, a display screen of 5.7-inch, which seems incorrect now.
Moving further on the listing it shows, the Samsung Galaxy C9 could possess a Qualcomm octa-core processor that is clocked at 1.4GHz. Additionally, it might have a RAM of 6GB, which is quite high than the other flagship offerings from the company. If the Geekbench listing is to be believed, then probably this would be the largest RAM that Samsung has delivered ever.
To take a note, last month the South Korean tech giant was willing to release a 6GB RAM variant of the flagship Galaxy Note 7 in the Chinese market. But it didn’t happen yet.
Coming back to the Geekbench listing, it also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy C9 would be running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The other specifications of the device seem much more similar to the Galaxy A9, which is expected to hit the market in the next year.
According to a report published on Sammobile, the South Korean company is working on other variants of the Galaxy C range, which are Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro. These two devices are expected to feature the mid-range specs.
The Galaxy C5 and C7 are currently available in the Chinese market. The company has released the two devices in the month of May this year. The price tag of Galaxy C5 32GB variant is CNY 2,199 and for 64GB variant, it is CNY 2,399. On the other hand, the 32GB variant of Galaxy C7 is available at CNY 2,599 and the 64GB variant priced at CNY 2,799.
So it’s safe to say that probably we will see the successor smartphone in the Galaxy C range, Samsung Galaxy C9 in China first.
Though nothing has been informed officially yet and we should wait for an official nod on the smartphone details. But if the specs revealed by the listing are true, then we are excited to see a Samsung device with 6GB RAM. What do you think? Do comment on the box below.
