Samsung has launched Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 – two Galaxy Tab 3 variants. The Tab 3 8.0 costs Rs.25, 725, while the Tab 3 7.0 costs Rs. 17,745. The prices of the gadgets are for the 3G variants.
The Tab 3 8.0 will be available in Wi-Fi only variant as well. This version of the model will cost Rs. 21,945.
The Tab 3 is an 8-inch gadget and is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. It has a 5 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera. As the name suggests, it has an 8-inch WVGA TFT display and the resolution is 1280 X 800.
This gadget comes in two variants – the 32GB variant and the 64GB variant. For the 32GB variant, there is also the MicroSD card slot option to increase the memory. The tab is powered by a 4450mAh battery and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.
There are Samsung pre-loaded apps like ChatOn, WatchONS Travel, S Translator and Samsung Hub.
It was in the month of April that the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 was announced. A 1.2GHz processor powers the tab and is built with 1GB of RAM. The 7-inch screen is a total disappointment that wasn’t expected of Samsung. The resolution of the screen is a poor 1024 X 600 with just 169 PPI.
There will be two variants of the gadget available – the 8GB variant and the 16GB variant. With MicroSD card, the memory can be expanded up to 64GB. The tab runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
