Samsung has launched the Galaxy Core Plus that comes with 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.2 OS. The price of Galaxy Core Plus in Taiwan is 7,990 Taiwanese dollars. According to the Indian currency, the Galaxy Core Plus costs around Rs. 17,050.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Plus is the successor to Galaxy Core. The new Smartphone has been seen listed on the official Taiwanese web site of the company. The Smartphone has been launched for the Taiwan market and Samsung hasn’t said anything about the availability of the phone for the other markets in the world.
If the new Smartphone is compared with its predecessor, there isn’t anything alarming or happening. In fact, it is a bit disappointing if the specs are taken into account. The latest Smartphone offers 4GB of inbuilt memory as against 8GB that came with the Galaxy Core. With the MicroSD card, the memory can be expanded up to 64GB.
The connectivity options are Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 3.0. The phone has 4.3 inch of TFT display and comes with a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. An 1800mAh battery is included in the phone. The dual-core processor in the phone comes with an unspecified chipset.
The Galaxy Core scores one over the Galaxy Core Plus. The previous model had 1GB of RAM as against just 768 MB RAM in the new model. The Galaxy Core Plus comes with 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. The front camera is just a VGA unit though.
However, there are some more features in the latest Smartphone that have been incorporated from various other Smartphones from the company. Motion UI, Smart Alert, Smart Stay and also the S Voice, the voice assistant from Samsung are some of the noteworthy functions the Galaxy Core Plus has.
