Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Smartphone Rumored to Release Soon

The new Xiaomi Black Shark gaming smartphone will soon be brought out by Xiaomi. Xiaomi already has almost everyone on their toes about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. But other than that, the company is also reportedly working on a gaming smartphone which is codenamed as “blackshark”. This unreleased Xiaomi gaming smartphone previously surfaced on AnTuTu, and now has also appeared on GeekBench. The specifications chart has revealed quite a few technical specifications about the phone.

And judging by the specifications, it can be said that this Xiaomi gaming smartphone has some pretty heavy specifications. The device is equipped with Qualcomm’s fastest Snapdragon 845 SoC which clocked at 1.77GHz. Although it’s not yet confirmed, the phone is said to feature 8GB of RAM and will be having an internal storage of 128GB or 256GB. Although we are not sure if the phone will be running the plain Android or any MIUI skin, the device will be running Android 8.0 Oreo.

The codenamed Xiaomi gaming smartphone as mentioned is specifically for gaming and has a ton of features to make the gaming experience much better and smoother. The phone will sport an aviation-class cooling system which will deliver a powerful performance and ensure lower CPU and GPU throttling. When coming to display, the phone would be featuring an 18:9 aspect ratio display with a full HD+ resolution. The phone is expected to see the light of day in May.
