Xolo has unveiled the Q500 and has expanded the Q series lineup in India. The Q500 is a dual-SIM phone built with the Android OS. The price of the Xolo Q500 is Rs. 7,999.
The phone comes with 4-inch WVGA screen accompanied by the One Glass Solution (OGS) technology. A 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor with Adreno 203 GPU powers the device.
However, the OS version looks a tad old with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which could have been even better. There is 1GB of RAM that helps the above-mentioned processor for better performance.
The battery in the gadget is of 1,450mAh power. There are two cameras in the phone. The rear camera is 5MP and has the ability to shoot 720p videos. There is only the VGA unit at the front. There is 4GB of internal memory in the phone. It can be expanded up to 32GB with MicroSD card.
Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n and A-GPS are some of the other features of the phone. Another feature of the phone is the X-TransPic app. This app easily translates the Hindi text into English. So, that’s something great for those people who cannot easily comprehend Hindi, but are comfortable with English.
