The YouTube Miniplayer allows you to watch your favorite video and at the same time keep browsing other videos at the same time. Easily work on playlists too.
The YouTube miniplayer had been under testing for a while now. It’s nothing different than the Picture-in-Picture mode that is available on the mobile app. And as the name suggests, it allows you to watch your favorite video. And at the same time, you can browse other videos or keep searching around for something of your choice.
YouTube has been a force in video sharing department. And they keep bringing out new features every now and then. That’s why we have something like YouTube Kids, that brings education content in an entertaining way. Apart from the many finetuning and introducing of features, the YouTube Miniplayer is one of them.
It’s an interesting new feature and gives the power and flexibility of video watching. To enable the new feature, you’ll need to double right-click on the video player and you should see a pop-up menu that shows you the feature in question. There were a few queries floating around that the YouTube PiP mode not working. But we tested the feature on Chrome Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit) and as you all might be knowing, it’s already working in YouTube mobile app (version 13.41.53 – the one we tested on).
